Remote Camera Monitoring is a system that enables the monitoring of distributed cameras through mobile phones. The system should maintain access control list (ACL) for each cameras to enable authorized users to monitor the cameras.

iPhone mobiles are the targeted client for the system, making use of iPhone mobile navigation capabilities, and wide viewing screen which is much more suitable for the executive level users. In this new interface the user is presented with a 2D plan map for the cameras monitored location, where the user can select the camera on touch screen.
